Democratic advisers and strategists have a clear message for President Biden for both right now and for the rest of the campaign: DO NOT TALK ABOUT TRUMP'S LEGAL PROBLEMS. That's a good strategy, considering that Republicans are trying to convince the public that all of the indictments are politically-motivated. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains why Biden doesn't even need to mention these issues as the campaign moves on. Link - https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign..

Democratic officials, members of the D N C Democratic strategists and advisors all have the exact same message for President Biden right now. And that message is for the love of God. Don't talk about Donald Trump's legal problems. It's a good message. It's actually a good strategy. And I can't believe I'm saying that I criticize the Democrats all the time for having horrible strategies and horrible I ideas with campaigns. This is a smart one. And they're not saying this because they're worried that Biden's gonna come out and be like, eh, just see what happened to that Trump guy. That's not what they think is gonna happen. They're worried that as the presidential campaign drags on, that the Biden campaign may start to, you know, mention it here and there. Maybe they mention it in interviews, maybe they mention it during speeches, and they're saying, please don't do that. You do not need to talk about Donald Trump's legal problems. Focus on what you've done as president in your campaigns and your speeches. Focus on what you want to do in four more years with your campaign and speeches. Don't talk Trump. And here's why. That is a really good strategy right now. You've got a Republican party that is out there every day telling us that the only reason Trump is being indicted is because Biden is interfering with the election. He's afraid of Trump, so he is having him prosecuted. You have far too many Republicans who believe that, and you have an entire conservative media apparatus that is pushing that every day trying to make it look like Biden is the sinister figure behind all of these Trump investigations. So if Biden goes out there and campaigns and says, Hey, look at this guy getting indicted all the time, conservatives are gonna look at that and they're gonna be like, see, he's using it in the campaign. That's why he's having the D O J prosecute him. So he has something to attack him with. They will absolutely, in a heartbeat, use that exact same talking point, and it will become a rallying cry for the moderate Republicans who are on the fence about whether or not they even wanna vote next year if the nominee is Trump. So the best thing, the only thing that Biden can do right now is not say a word about it. He doesn't need to either. It's not like there's people in this country who don't know what's going on with Donald Trump's legal problems. The only people in this country who don't know what's going on with his legal problems are the people that are so disconnected from politics that they don't even show up to vote. So don't waste your time trying to get them to pay attention to this, but you've got the media on both the left and the right talking about this all the time. And as more indictments come down the pipeline, we're gonna be talking about it even more. Everybody's gonna be talking about it. You know, we're all Gonna have different framing of it, obviously, you know, I'm not gonna be saying the same thing that Ben Shapiro says about it, or that Charlie Kirk says about it, or that Maria Bart Romo says, but we're all going to be talking about it. So there's not gonna be any actual voters who don't know what's happening. Biden doesn't need to do that. He can keep his hands clean and let the rest of us go out there and do the dirty work for the Democratic party. Not that we're shills for them or anything like that, but we can talk about Donald Trump's crimes.
